DNA is organized structurally into chromosomes and then arround nucleosome. Genes which are made of DNA, are made into messenger RNA, which are then made into proteins. That is cycle process call is DOGMA CENTRAL, so-called of molecular biology.
Important point of DNA is that it can replicated one make copies of it self. Each strand of DNA in the double helix can serves as a pattern of duplicating the sequense of bases. This is critical when cells devide because each every new cell needs two have a exact copy of DNA present in the old cell.
