Imad Analis. Pemeriksaan Hepatitis C antibodi adalah tes pertama secara kualitatif untuk menentukan apakah Anda telah terinfeksi hepatitis C atau tidak. Hasilnya pemeriksaan Hepatitis C di interpretasikan sebagai positif atau negatif.
Penjelasan hasil tes Pemeriksaan Hepatitis C Antibodi :
Jika hasil pemeriksaan hepatitis C positif, itu berarti tubuh Anda terkena virus hepatitis C dan membuat antibodi (untuk informasi lebih lanjut, lihat bagian "Antibodi" di bawah Uji Lab Associated). Namun, itu tidak memberi tahu Anda apakah Anda masih terinfeksi hepatitis C. Jika hasil tes antibodi positif, Anda harus diuji untuk RNA hepatitis C (lihat "Hepatitis C RNA"), yang menentukan apakah Anda terinfeksi kronis. Laboratorium mungkin melakukan tes RNA ini secara otomatis jika tes antibodi hepatitis C Anda positif atau dokter Anda mungkin perlu untuk menambahkan pemeriksaan RNA C hepatitis secara terpisah.
Jika hasil tes antibodi Hepatitis C negatif, itu berarti Anda belum terinfeksi virus hepatitis C, dan pengujian lebih lanjut untuk hepatitis C biasanya tidak diperlukan.
Hal-hal lain yang perlu diketahui:
- Setelah pengobatan yang berhasil untuk hepatitis C, antibodi hepatitis C tetap terdeteksi, tetapi RNA hepatitis C tidak akan terdeteksi.
- Setiap pasien dengan hasil tes positif untuk antibodi hepatitis C harus memiliki tes tambahan untuk menentukan apakah virus masih aktif atau tidak.
